Is there a special visiting day for Night Owls parents?
The number one goal of the Night Owls program is to expose your children to “Northeastern Resident Camping in South Florida”. This can only be accomplished if the camping environment we surround your children with is as identical to the camps in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Upstate New York as possible. Since your children come home every Friday night to spend the weekend, we do not recommend visiting as it interrupts the camping flow and instead of a “resident camping” environment there is a more “day camp” feel. While we do have an “open-door” policy, it was originally designed and works best for day camp. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact H.Q. to inquire about your camper or to simply ask “how is my child doing?” Of course if you need to see your child for any reason we will be happy to bring your child to see you at the camps H.Q.
