Is there a special psychology field that deals with human body language and non verbal communication?

There isn’t a field per se that deals specifically with body language. Its more of a specialization that some people study independently. Many psychologists get some basic knowledge of body language, and chemical dependency people like myself get a little bit more training in this field. You can however make this your specialization. By making this an area for research for a future thesis, you can carve out a future career in this area. For instance, I’m specializing in Behavioral Addictions (a field not previously given much focus).
