Is there a special kind of person who plans or wishes to be buried at sea?
We’ve found studies that suggest more and more people plan to be buried at sea. Why? No particular reason. We assume those who desire to be buried at sea made their living at sea, served at sea in the military or the Merchant Marines, or other uniformed services such as police. Perhaps many make this choice because they spent their happiest days on or near the ocean.
