The IDEA League has no special budget for PhD students but tries to foster collaboration between the IDEA universities to attract funding. Each university has its own resources to support PhD funding. However, the IDEA League has created a grant scheme for research collaborations to which PhD students can apply; for more details see http://proto-idea.ethz.
