Is there a special detergent i can use that will stop my clothes from fading so fast?
Most of the major brands have a line of “color safe” detergents, have a look on the labels at the store! My other tips are: – wash your clothes in cold water – use the shortest wash cycle on your washer – use the gentle cycle on your washing machine – turn your clothes inside out – hang or lay out to dry the things you really want to keep nice (the dryer ages clothes very quickly) – add 1/2 to 1 cup of vinegar to the wash water, especially when you first get your clothes, it will help keep the colors from fading!
