Yes. For application on wood, brick or other slightly porous surfaces that have not been painted, apply PVA-Acrylic (in exteriors), PVA-Vinyl acrylic (in interiors) or a vinyl primer like Recol® Glaze which help to seal and level the surface, improving in this manner the performance of the paint.
