Is There a Solution to Cursing Swearing Violence Adultery and Theft?
Around one in ten people in the United Kingdom between the ages of 13 and 24 do not know that The Ten Commandments exist. That was one of the recent findings when 200 British churches commissioned a survey. Almost half of this same age group could not name a single Commandment. Surprised at the results, some were reminded of what a man of God, named Hosea, prophetically said: “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery.” Today, there is much technical information, with superb communications, but little knowledge of God. Violence is increasing. Unrestrained cursing and swearing is heard everywhere, even in the supermarkets and streets as mothers address little children. Fear is increasing across neighbourhoods in many towns and cities.
