There used to be a site with scans of a lot of 1930s and 1940s comics scans up, but I think DC made them shut it down. Other than pirated copy swapping (which is against Yahoo’s terms of service, so don’t ask for ’em here) and excerpts like Scans Daily or superdickery.com, I don’t think there’s any free online versions of golden age DC comics right now. Or pay online, for that matter. DC’s a bit behind the times on that one.
