Is there a sims 3 coming out?
The Sims and The Sims 2 were respectively the most popular computer games in the world. To expect them not to make The Sims 3 is unimaginable. But the form it takes is what is going to be the big question. The Sims 2 has seen a lot of it’s players migrate to Second Life. Almost all of the people I used to regularly talk to on the Sims forums – both at the official site and at sites like Mod The Sims 2 and More Awesome Than You are now in Second Life. Many of the great designers of Sims clothes and skins are now in Second Life too and they enjoy the freedom of making things for SL. In Second Life, you can do so much more than you could ever do in The Sims 2. I’m not saying that The Sims 2 is rubbish – it isn’t – it’s just confined by it’s format. Not to be outdone by the massive popularity of Second Life, Sony is about to release it’s own version of Second Life for the PS3 online.
