Normally, fan noise decreases as fan speed decreases. Axial-flow fans (excluding MRS series) are available in three speed types: standard-, middle-speed and low-speed. Noise can be reduced by using middle-speed or low-speed fans. For example, to reduce noise while obtaining the same air-flow as a standard speed fan, a large-sized middle-speed or low-speed fan should be used.
