Is there a significant amount of holocaust denial in the muslim community?
Each year, people of all religions in Britain remember the Holocaust during a dedicated memorial day. The Muslim Council of Britain had boycotted the memorial since 2001, announcing that it was too narrow a memorial and ignored subsequent genocides such as Rwanda and Srebrenica. Many accused them of anti-Semitism. But why would a Muslim have any objection to remembering the Holocaust. Of all the things that Muslims can be accused of, the Holocaust is not one of them. Muslims and Islam had nothing whatsoever to do with this massacre of Jews in Europe. Most ordinary Muslims probably had no idea that it had even happened until Israel was established and it was cited as a justification.
