Only to a very limited extent. The relationship between plaintiffs’ firms and defendants’ firms is not as polarised in The Netherlands, or in Europe, as it is in the US. However, there are firms that mainly represent defendants and those, especially in the field of personal injury, that market themselves as plaintiff-oriented.
