There is no separate appropriation for the Change Program. Funding will be provided through the overall 3 year program approved for the ATO. It is also expected that efficiencies and savings gained as a result of the implementation of change will provide the funds necessary to continue the Change Program and the on-going reinvestment needed to maintain the improvements. While the ATO is prepared to fund the initial investment to begin the implementation of the Change program, it is expected that efficiency improvements will be implemented progressively over the life of the Program and that these efficiency gains will provide the necessary on-going funding. What is the link, if any, between the Change Program and the compliance activities that are generally outside the scope of the Program?
