Is there a Schizophrenia gene?

Look up DISC-1 genetic mutation (short for DISRUPTED IN SCHIZOPHRENIA 1). It is a genetic mutation that has been identified as on genetic factor in schizophrania, though there are known to be others too. Schizophrania is also not entirely genetic as if one identical twin has it it, the other only has about a 50% chance of having it. That is MUCH higher then the general population chance of about 1% so it definitly is linked to genetics, however the gene seems to need to be “turned on ” in some way. If it was purely genetic, if one identical twin had it, the other would too as genetics are identical.
