Is there a “run-time” environment needed to execute PRO-Gen created web applications?
Yes, there are a few base and utility classes (mentioned above). This is called the PRO-XE for Persistent Relational Objects Execution Environment. These base, abstract, and utility classes reduce the size and memory footprint of the generated code.We give you these classes and, as you would expect, there are no fees, costs or royalties associated with these classes- you can deploy to as many machines with as many CPUs as you want. For additional details, explode the jars/projavadoc.jar archive into an empty directory and open index.html in any PRO distribution. We put many weeks into this Javadoc as we ourselves find it helpful when interpreting PRO-XE realtime traces.
