[ Top ] A: My opinions on PTSD are posted elsewhere on this website [ here. ] Alpha-theta training remains prominent in the minds of many neurofeedback practitioners. It is likely to become more powerful as more information on the role of the default mode network, the narrative process, memory, and self-awareness provide rationale for neurofeedback protocols. Arousal (under and over) is always an issue in PTSD. Low frequency protocol and alpha-theta protocol can work hand in hand in keeping a client within his or her window of tolerance while allowing the client to reestablish a narrative and learn self-regulation. Nexus now has an Alpha-Theta Synchrony Module with user guide [ here.
