Is there a risk of toxicity or diarrhea with Inflamin due to the presence of castor oil in the product?
The ricinus dose to induce diarrhea (as a purgative) is 5-10 grams, there is only 15 mg in inflamin. Regarding toxicity, the oil is considered safe when less that 60 ml are used. The acceptable daily intake for man is 0.7 mg/kg body weight which translates to 49 mg/day in a 70 Kg person which translates to about 55 ml.
