The added moisture used in the installation process is limited and considered to be a catalyst to activate the stabilizing adhesive in FRM. Provided the FRM product is spray-applied according to the manufacturer’s specifications, there are no product concerns. GreenFiber uses boric acid, an E. P. A. registered fungicide, to pass the ASTM C 739 test for fungal resistance.
