Is there a relationship between gender and iving alone among Ohios population age 60+?
Older women are more likely than older men to be living alone in Ohio. The figure below shows that a higher percentage of women than men are living alone at all ages above 60. While the percentage of men living alone increases only slightly with age, the percent of women living alone increases dramatically with age.
