Is there a recommended reading list on Church history?

That covers more than 2,000 years, so it kind of depends on what area of Church history you’re wondering about. The reference book I use a lot is “Catholicism” by Fr. Richard McBrien. He’s a professor at Notre Dame University. You can look up a topic, and he usually gives a clear history as well. You can also check the website of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops www.usccb.org by topic…. If all else fails — “Google it”!
