Is there a recommended minimum or maximum height for a custom brick surround?
• Do you have to make provisions between a brick or stone surround for air supply to the base of the burner? No. However, there should be a little space between the outside sheet metal band that is around the burner assembly and the custom enclosure in case the burner would have to be removed. I would say at least an 1/8 inch.
