Scholarship recipients will be expected to travel to Washington, DC (all expenses paid) the weekend of October 10, 2009 to be recognized and to take part in the HRC National Dinner. The National Dinner is a formal gala event featuring prominent speakers and honorees, fun giveaways, a silent auction and the chance to mingle with HRC staff and other supporters of LGBT equality.
