I am looking for a program that would access every machine on my Windows Network (about 300) and collect whatever hardware data was possible and collate it into a spreadsheet/database. You may want to check out Spiceworks (www.spiceworks.com) This (free) program is used by millions of IT guys to collect hardware and software data on the network. This will query every device on your network and give you a report such as all software installed, firmware versions, updates installed, etc.
