Is there a product or item I can use in the safe to decrease mositure?
Answer Peter, Unfortunately all fire safes are subject to moisture, some more than others. The humidity is caused by the moisture in the air, the moisture that has become trapped in the fire resistive material built into the safe and the temperature differences inside/outside of the safe. Every home will very slightly in its humidity. For instance, rather than use large AC units to cool my house I have ceiling fans in every room. The fans cause air movement which helps to dry out the moisture in the air, causing the total humidity in the house to be lower.
