Is there a process to contest a parking citation?

You can contest the citation by obtaining and completing the administrative review form. The form is available at the Police Department. The completed form must be returned to the Police Department within 21 day of receiving written notice in the mail of the parking violation. Upon completion of the form, your citation will receive an administrative review by the Chief of Police of his designee. You will receive notice in the mail of the results of this review. If you are not satisfied with the results, you may pursue the matter by requesting an Administrative Appeal Hearing. This form is available at the Police Department. This hearing is reviewed by the City Administrator. Once a decision has been made by the City Administrator this decision is final.
