No, all the hotels spray each night about 7 pm to stop the mosquito’s, its really effective too, we had no problems with mossies whatsoever, our biggest problem was the sand-flies on the first night we were there, pesky little things bite the back of your ankles, we were given a good tip by a German lady after the first night, spray mossie spray, (the roll on mossie stuff works just as good) from your knees downwards each night before you go out and it stops them biting you, it worked, no problem again for the rest of the fortnight, have a great trip, Cuba is an amazing place.
