Is there a potential for artists to manipulate images and present work that appears better than it actually is? What are the consequences?
This is an ethical issue both for artists and for each arts organization. Artists certify that their artwork is original and in its true form upon submitting to any call for entry. The CaFÉTM license agreement signed by organizations specifically forbids them from altering any image. Should this occur, the organization will no longer be able to license CaFÉTM.
