well I own and operate 3 pennzoil ten minute oil changes and I can’t remember the last time I hired anyone with experience. I prefer to hire people that know nothing about cars or at least changing oil in them any way. That way I can train them how to do it my way and they work out very well. I don’t want someone that has worked for the competition and have them bring all their bad habits to my shops. While I have over the years hired some people that have worked at other quick lubes or shops and I’ll tell you what they normally don’t work out because they are unwilling to relearn how to do stuff. They have a way they were taught and they do not want to change their ways. Not saying that I am perfect but I am picky about how things are done at my shops and it is a lot easier to train some one who doesn’t know how to do it.
