Is there a positive correlation between sucrose consumption and diabetes?
Adult on-set diabetes was first described in sugar plantation owners. Then it is spread into the civilized nations of the world, and sugar related complication soon follow. Today “…about one-third of U.S. adults have an impaired glucose tolerance, more are not able to produce sufficient insulin to maintain non-diabetic glucose levels.
