Thanks to efforts of many people, coordinated by David Hobley and Marc Paquette , beta versions of XEmacs now run on 32-bit Windows platforms (NT and 95). The current betas require having an X server to run XEmacs; however, a native NT/95 port is in alpha. The NT development is now coordinated by a mailing list at . Furthermore, Altrasoft is seeking corporate and government sponsors to help fund a fully native port of XEmacs to Windows 95 and NT using full-time, senior-level staff working under a professionally managed project structure.
