Is there a policy allowing MC4 computers on NIPR lines?

0

Yes. In 2007, MC4 received a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) from the U.S. Army’s Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). This document gives written, formal approval for MC4 systems to operate on Army networks throughout the world. The CoN provides the authority for MC4 to operate on Army networks and describes the liability that the approving authority finds acceptable. The certification is valid through MC4’s current authority to operate (ATO) and will renew with the release of MC4’s updated software suite provided by the Defense Health Information Management System (DHIMS). You can obtain a copy of the certificate from your local MC4 site lead.
