Is there a plan to shorten the update cycle on state plats?
As part of the Mining Claim Information System, we plan to automate a large portion of the update cycle for mining claims and prospecting sites. The goal is to save enough capacity via automation to take care of updates as efficiently as possible. These transactions comprise about two-thirds of all plat transactions on an annual basis. Automation is the key. Adopting conventions for filing claims and prospecting sites is an essential ingredient to the automation strategy.
