Is there a place online which will send fresh cookies anywhere in the US?
The Carolina Cookie Company is a company right here in town that has a website you can order your cookies from. They ship them the same day that they are baked and they are fabulous. I’ve shipped them as gifts many times over. You can tell them to send all of one kind or a variety, but you can also specify if it needs to be a variety with no nuts, or no chocolate (sacrilege!!) depending upon the person’s dietary needs. My personal favorites are the milk chocolate chunk, but they also used to have an incredible cookie with chunks of Heath bars in it, that I don’t see on their list now . If you check out their website (www.carolinacookie.com) you can ever see the chart of which days they bake what cookies so you will know what is available to be shipped that day. Another nice thing is the selection of cookie tins that they provide. You can choose one to match the occassion that you are buying cookies for, and they are truly beautiful.
