A Ph.D. program in biological sciences in dental medicine (BSDM) was approved by Harvard University in 2001. The Ph.D. degree is awarded by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS). An application and description of the program as well as admissions requirements can be obtained online at the Harvard GSAS web site. The HSDM director of the program is Bjorn R.
