Is there a permit required for constructing a fence?
Yes, a Planning & Zoning fence permit is always required for any fence construction. There is no charge for this permit. The permits can be obtained from the Planning & Zoning Department at City Hall on the second floor and are normally reviewed immediately when submitted. A Building Permit for a fence is required when circumstances warrant it.
