The core 4:2:2 processing pipeline of an Avid DS Nitris system remains the Nitris hardware and this performance is unchanged. However a number of rendering scenarios of effects that are handled by the CPU or GPU will see significant performance improvements, and the 4:4:4 pipeline to the dual-link I/O card will also see significant performance improvements.
