Is there a pay-as-you-go phone that supports international text messaging?
Answer All of the major providers offer international text messaging packages. No one has an unlimited international package, I’m sorry to say. All pay as you go phones from the major carrier support international text messaging also – you are basically paying from the prepaid dollars per message. T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint all have a lot of agreements with international carriers so that you can text message internationally. Their pay as you go plans support this also. These plans aren’t that cheap – around $9.99 a month for 100 messages. I can’t speak to any of these services that say that they have low cost text messages because many of them are scams. I usually advise people to use their email to send international messages – you can send from your computer to the address of their phone – and that’s free. It’s not as convenient, of course, but if you can’t find the plan you are looking for, it’s always an option. All SMS addresses can be sent to using your email. I hope this
