Is there a parent organization that supports the band program?
Yes. Rustburg Band Boosters, Inc. is a parent support organization that provides support in many different ways for the band programs at both Rustburg Middle School and Rustburg High School. Support includes fundraising activities for students, scholarships, providing funding for new instruments and instrument repair and purchasing music just to name a few. Many parents find volunteering with the band boosters to be a very rewarding experience. From the parent perspective, enjoying the many friendships parents develop with other parents to experiencing the pride of seeing our children achieve musically in performance and contests is a very rewarding experience for parents.
