Granted, some paper towels are more ’linty’ than others, but using them with plain water is the problem. There’s nothing in the water to cut any grease or oily substance that may have been in the air. When I’m framing my art, I have to get the glass spotless, smearless and sparkling clear. I had tried Windex and wasn’t too happy with the subtle little haze that often appeared. I found that’ Glass Plus’ does an awesome job. I use Bounty paper towels, too. Try washing your car windows with a good squirt of Glass Plus….you figure, when you run your windshield wipers, you’re using the window washing solution, that’s why they look so clear. Try it, I think you’ll be pleased with the results.
