Is there a Nursing / Computer technician position in the health industry?

Where I work there is a nurse that works in Nursing Infomatics. She sets up the electronic charting systems and provides support and training for new employees that need to learn how to chart on our system. She is not an IT person(that is another dept) but she uses her nursing experience to develop and monitor our electronic charting ensure it is being done properly and changes it according needs. She evaluates how well information is being recorded and audits the electronic charting done by staff. She doesn’t handle actual repair end like an IT person. I am in Canada and many hospitals have a department like this. The position are held by nurses with many years of nursing experience in patient care.
