Is there a national certifying agency for Medical Laboratory Science?

0

The American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of Registry is the primary certifying agency for medical laboratory professionals. The University of New Hampshire Department of Medical Laboratory Science prepares students to become certified as generalists in all areas of the laboratory, and take the Medical Technology examination. Those who wish to specialize may, instead, choose to become certified in one area only such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Blood Banking. This is for Clinical Track students only.
