Is there a minimum percentage allocation towards the three required Strategic Directions? Specifically, can we allocate less than 5% to Tobacco-Free Living?
Section F of the FOA—Selection of Strategies and Performance Measures— in implementation activities requires that the selected strategies be described and include a commitment to spend at least 50% of funding on the first three strategic directions: Tobacco-Free Living, Active Living and Healthy Eating, and High Impact Quality Clinical and Other Preventive Services, specifically preventing and controlling high blood pressure. While a specific percentage allocation is not required among each of the three required strategic directions, applications will have to sufficiently address each of the three required strategic directions in order to contribute to the overall goals of the FOA.
