Is there a minimum or maximum number of riders per tour?
We require a minimum of seven people on AMT tours. The maximum is ten bikes, but we do not base solely it on the number of bikes. We have several reasons… First our evenings will be spent at unique establishments and many B&B’s have a limited number of rooms. Second, larger groups are difficult to manage in this terrain. Third, it is important that everyone gets to know one another and in larger groups this would be difficult. Our experience has been that camaraderie is often a significant part of the trip and many times lasting friendships are made.
