Is there a minimum high school GPA, SAT or ACT required for admission?

Although there is no minimum required, we look at a combination of various factors with most emphasis placed on academic achievement. Because freshman admission is competitive, students are encouraged to submit applications early in the fall of their senior year of high school. Transfer applicants who have less than 30 semester hours of college transfer coursework will have both high school and college coursework considered in the admission review process.

• UALR uses a combination of GPA, SAT or ACT scores for class placement and scholarship eligibility. There are minimum scores required for freshmen and freshmen transfer students. Please review the admissions standards.
