Is there a minimum disability income benefit that the CDSP will pay?

Yes. The plan may pay a minimum disability income benefit depending upon your date of disability. Beginning 1/1/2009, the minimum benefit paid will change from 20% of compensation to 10% of the member’s gross monthly benefit. This change will only apply to new disability claims commencing on or after 1/1/2009.
