Is there a minimum amount of time established to count as “weekly contact?” (WAC 392-121-182(2)(d))
The requirements for weekly contact do not include a time specification. The parameters for weekly contact are that it is direct personal contact with a certificated staff member for the purposes of instruction, review of assignments, testing, reporting of student progress, or other learning activities. The amount of time for a particular weekly contact should reflect these parameters and the individual needs of a student at that particular time.
