Is there a method we can use to make ie5 mac (and others) work with min-height?

There is a method you can use that will prop open the element using a float. It utilises a 0px width float (some browsers may require 1px but I haven’t found any that do yet) which is floated right in the parent container and has a height that you want to prop open the element with. Here’s an example of min-height that will work in ie5 mac and most others (version 5 browsers and up). I don’t have safari to check but browerscam shows safari 1.2 behaving with it. Here’s a live example.
