A mile and a half wide meteor was discovered in 2002 by US astronomers. It is currently on target to come very close to, or even hit earth on or about February 1st 2019. However, much could happen in the upcoming 11 years to alter the meteor’s path. Of course, all of this moot since we will have already been reduced to primordial goo on December 21st 2012.
