Is there a live action Gatchaman series?
Not exactly a series. In September of 2000, two TV commercials featuring a live-action version of Gatchaman were released by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) as part of a campaign advertising their internet and ISDN services. They used a revamped, Science Ninja Team featuring the members of popular Japanese boy-band, SMAP. There was also an animated TV commercial using many of the same scenes.
