Is there a list of District approved technology items available for purchase?
Yes, the IT Department provides IT Hardware Standards and Purchasing Guidelines and IT Software Standards and Purchasing Guidelines; both can be found on the IT Purchasing website. These webpages should not be printed out for reference since they are frequently updated. Accessing them on the IT Purchasing website will ensure that you always have the most up-to-date and accurate information. These standards have been developed in order to provide technology equipment that can be supported by our infrastructure and support staff. Any upgrades or changes to equipment not listed in the IT Hardware Standards must be vetted by IT staff for compatibility with our infrastructure and supportability by district IT staff.
